How to Host a Server Like [Popular Minecraft YouTuber]
Do you want to copy a creator’s setup for your friends? In this guide you will learn a safe way to match versions, plugins or mods, and performance settings using SquidServers.
Gather the setup notes
Write down the Minecraft version, loader, modpack name or plugin list, and any special rules they use. If they shared a pack code or server files, keep those handy.
Build it in SquidServers
Choose the matching server type. For plugins, select Paper. For modpacks, choose Modpack and upload or pick the pack. Create or import your world, set RAM with the slider, and launch. Share the join link when you are ready to test.
Test and adjust
Run a short play test with your group. If something feels off, check for version mismatches and lower simulation distance during busy areas. Make small changes and test again until it feels right.
